God's Love

1 John 3:1 See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

I would like to talk about God’s love. God’s love is so amazing. He wants you to cast all your anxieties on Him. Friends want to help you but let’s be honest we can’t lay all of our anxiety on them. They wouldn’t be able to handle it. God on the other can handle it. He WANTS to handle your anxiety. Think about how much less stressed we would be if we set all of our worries at the feet of Jesus.

There is something else that I would like to point out. I don’t think we can even grasp the concept of how much God loves us. We are human and we understand human love. Human love is unlike God’s. God loves us no matter what we have done and what we will do. Humans will fail it is impossible for them not to but God will never fail. We can ALWAYS count on Him.

Just Love

I have not blogged in forever! I apologize. It is one of my goals starting right now to blog more.

I just had this come over me just like in the last 5 minutes. I need to love more. It sounds so easy but in reality in can be hard. Those people who you don't necessarily like, or maybe it is a long lost friend, distant relative, or maybe it is a person you talk to often but they all need love. Start connecting or reconnect they may need your words more than you know. If God lays someone on your heart pray for them or just send them an encouraging word on Facebook. I need to do that more often! I think all of us should. Wouldn't it be amazing if you were having a bad day and someone messaged you on Facebook telling you they were praying for you. It is the little things in life. The little "I am praying for you" and "I hope you are doing well" go a long way.  Let us all love a little more.
